2023-2024 Officer Board

Erin Del Paggio

— She/Her/Hers — Spring, TX — Senior —
— Biomedical Engineering —
"Hi guys!!! I'm Erin and I will be your AMSA President for this year. As president I oversee the entire organization and the board and on my own, I seek out new partnerships and maintain the ones we currently have. I also organize all officer meetings and work alongside VP and Secretary to make sure everything is running smoothly! Outside of AMSA, I love swimming, cooking, and gaming, and napping a bit too much. I'm only taking two classes this year, so I won't be on campus too too often (except for AMSA events of course), but if you want to hang out I will be more than happy to meet up!"

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, watching movies, playing with my two dogs, and hanging out with friends! As Vice President, I oversee the FAMSA mentorship program, manage AMSA's bank account, and provide support to the rest of the officer board. I am looking forward to meeting you all and can't wait for a great year together! "

I play volleyball for AMSA's Intramural teams and am always scouting for new players to join us. Aside from AMSA, I work for a molecular biology research lab, where I do usual wet lab things and also 3D modeling and animation of chemical structures. I love oil painting and digital art but am trying to get into sculpting. I have made so many close friends from AMSA, and can't wait to make more! "

I love lifting weights, playing basketball and volleyball, and recently picked up boxing. I am an enormous one piece fanatic(adore tony tony chopper), and have recently been getting into other animes. I've also been cheffing it up recently, so please please please send me your favorite recipes so I can add it to my repertoire. Adrienne and I will be your liaisons for anything medical! "What's up? If you're reading this bio then you chose the right one, congratulations. I love to get to know new faces, so don't be afraid to hit me up anytime. I consider myself pretty active as I love trying new sports, going on runs, and hiking! If I'm not out and about, then you can probably find me binging youtube, reading, or painting (accepting commissions cough cough). Being a first gen premed can be scary, which is why AMSA was the perfect place for me to find my footing, and it can be yours too. As SOCO, I make sure everyone has a blast by organizing a variety of socials, including camping, game nights, parties, and more! I'm always here for the vibes, so let's make this year the best one yet."

As SOCO, I make sure everyone has a blast by organizing a variety of socials including camping, game nights, parties, and more throughout the year! Lets have a BONKERS year!!!"

Outside of AMSA, I love cooking with friends, vlogging, playing tennis, and drinking coffee! I would love to find the best coffee shop in Austin so hit me up if you want to explore the city together! AMSA has been my outlet for finding the best premed community and I can't wait to meet all of you and make new friends this year :)"

Hi everyone! In my free time, I like to watch Youtube documentaries on niche topics, paint my nails (my polish collection is getting unreasonably large), and try new restaurants with friends. Some arbitrary goals I have are to take a printmaking class before graduating, watch all the Spiderman movies (only have two left!), and someday crochet a temperature blanket. As Volunteer Coordinators, Soumya and I manage partnerships with local nonprofits and student organizations, lead volunteering events in the Austin area, and ensure you have a fun time serving your community! I've never regretted joining AMSA because I've had so many great experiences with new friends, and I'm excited to meet all of y'all this year!"
